New HP Firmware for Emulex Based CNAs – 4.2.401.2215

As the April 2013 VMware FW and Software Recipe 6.2 now states , Emulex firmware 4.2.401.2215 is now the recommended firmware level by HP for use with all Emulex based CNA and is fully supported with HP Virtual Connect/FlexFabric.

The new CNA Firmware also adds Virtual Connect 4.01 compatibility, including FCoE Dual-Hop support, as stated by the new technical white paper that has been released: Dual-Hop FCoE with HP Virtual Connect Modules Cookbook
